Legislative Call to Action: Sign and Veto Requests to the Governor 2022
This webinar took place on Sept. 1, 2022.
The legislative session ended on Aug. 31. Gov. Gavin Newsom had until Sept. 30 to sign or veto measures passed by the Legislature. This was the final opportunity for city officials to voice their support or opposition to the Governor on key bills. The Cal Cities team convened for a review of the top bills on the Governor’s desk that cities would have wanted to consider advocating for or against.
