City Clerks New Law and Elections Seminar

More than 400 city clerks and staff members from throughout the state met virtually in December for the 2020 City Clerks New Law and Elections Seminar. Attendees engaged with a wide variety of topics relevant to their roles within their cities, including remote records management, elections, redistricting, diversity and inclusion, police records and the public records act, resiliency, and much more. Attendees also had a chance to connect with their peers each day of the conference during a group morning coffee chat and a themed trivia lunch.

Municipal Finance Institute

More than 120 finance directors and city finance staff from throughout the state gathered virtually for the 2020 Municipal Finance Institute. Attendees participated in sessions pertinent to their city roles, including a sales tax update for cities from the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration, observations from local, state, and national economists, a legislative and state budget update, and much more.
