Supportive Housing Multifamily Housing Program Notice of Funding Availability Amendment

On Nov. 27, 2018, HCD announced the availability of approximately $77 million in funds for the SHMHP. The program funding provides loans to individuals, public agencies, or private entities (including for-profit, limited profit, or non-profit) for the development of multifamily rental housing containing permanent supportive housing and new construction or rehabilitation of multifamily rental housing developments.

The amended SHMHP NOFA includes the following information:

• HCD will utilize $78 million of Proposition 1 (Chapter 365, Statues 2017) MHP funding. The total funding available for this SHMHP NOFA is $155 million.
