Submit Your Session Ideas for the 2019 City Managers Department Meeting

Jun 3, 2018
The event is scheduled Feb. 13–15, 2019 in San Diego.

The League is encouraging city managers, city professionals and experts to provide session proposals for the conference that includes general sessions, breakout sessions, and networking and is geared toward California city managers and others in the profession.

 For 2019, managers are asking to hear on topics such as:
  • Homelessness solutions;
  • Working fluidly with community groups and councils;
  • Pensions and CalPERS;
  • Infrastructure and water; and
  • Leadership in tough times.
The last conference, held in January 2018, featured a range of sessions on a variety of topics including succession planning, pensions, high-performing councils, and tools for addressing homelessness. For more information and to get a copy of last year’s program, please contact Katie Pebler.

Submissions, non-commercial in nature, from any individual, group, business or organization, on any topic are welcome. The Program Planning Advisory Committee will consider the educational value of each proposal and the extent to which it presents new and/or significant information.
